Box Score Basketball has its roots in the late 1980's. It has lately been reborn, and with the medium of the Internet easily accessible, it will keep getting better. There are two main areas you should visit if you are here for the first time. The first is the link called Current Season. There you will see an in depth analysis on Conference and Divisional success. The second main section is under the link called "essays". Here you will be able to find papers that ask interesting questions and with answers presented in an objective way. In other words, we'll present the numbers and our conclusions. We'll let you make the final decision on any claims we make. One startling claim that is currently in the works and should be published soon is the "unimportance" of assists and offensive rebounds. Sounds like a bold statement. Hopefully you'll stay tuned.

We also would like to hear back from readers. Currently all links and essays are free. Later, if the demand merits more time and resources, we'll make appropriate changes. But for now, we are free!
